In October 2024, the International Human Mucosal Immunization Conference was successfully held in Shenzhen, hosted by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The event was co-organized and chaired throughout by Prof. Aldo Tagliabue and Academician, Prof. Diana Boraschi.

The conference brought together leading experts in the field from renowned universities and research institutions across China and abroad, including Austria, Spain, and Italy. It also featured the participation and support of prominent industry leaders and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

With over a dozen high-level scientific presentations and in-depth discussions, the conference served as a premier platform for advancing global academic exchange and promoting collaboration between research and industry in the field of mucosal immunity.
